Our History
The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. (NCBW) was created as a national organization in 1981.
The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Chattanooga Chapter, Inc. is a proud 501c3 on an active mission to advocate on behalf of Black women and girls promoting leadership development and gender equity in the areas of health, education and economic empowerment.
We envision a world where black women and girls will live in a world where socio-economic inequity does not exist.
Since our inception in October 1995, our chapter has been advocating tirelessly we have been leading the charge with informative and transformative community programs with heavy emphasis on education, economic empowerment and public policy. We are committed to this mission as we have seen that these programs can and do make a real difference in the lives of African American women and girls.
